I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself a little more on a personal level. I have an introduction on the main page of my website that shows a photo and a little of my background, however, sometimes it's the simple moments people want to know about you. I'm a southern gal with a whole lot of kids..HAHA... that moved to Parker, Colorado back around 4-5 years ago. We decided on Colorado from a ski trip we took in Steamboat. My husband and I fell in love and thought this is the perfect place to raise our "3" children at the time, now we are going on 4 children.  I have an amazing soul mate that has been super supportive with my business the last 3 years while I have spent late nights studying and learning and practicing and mostly beating my brain with the business side. Gosh my journey has been a long one. I fell into high school senior photography back about 1 1/2 years ago when I went to Salt Lake City to participate in a shoot-out offered by another photographer that specializes in family and children. At the time, I really thought that was the way I wanted to go within my career and business. Boy did I get a movement that has really guided me down a path I believe is for me and for my family.

While planning my trip, I discovered a group called Click In Moms and realized everyone was going to Salt Lake for the conference... I thought, "well while I am there, I might as well take some classes." So that was it.... Somehow I ended up in a class by Meg Borders, an amazing artist from Washington State. I sat peacefully through this class and realized.... "wow... .I think this is for me." 

I drove home and told God if this is it... Give me the strength and energy to make this happen. It's been 1 1/2 years since then, we had our first "Senior Rep Program" this past year and it was a great success and awesome start. It was amazing working with all 13 girls and I was delighted how things really turned out. Through this past year, my family and I loveeee to travel and we did a little traveling, well a LOT of traveling in 2015 (I will share some photos below) on top of finding out we have a fourth child on the way. I thought well God, you know best. At the beginning of the year, I was like, I know it is not intended for me to give this up... Three years of soul searching and learning and crying... HAHAHAHA... Yes there are days I could cry more... Starting a business has been very challenging and difficult especially when you are creative... you HATE excel... Do I get an AMEN?? :-) So here I am at the beginning of my career. I look back at 2015 and think WOW the mistakes I made.... but mistakes are meant to learn from. I can't express how much I am soooo empowered... soooo happy about 2016 and what new challenges I have made and to think I'm bringing in a new life too. I've had people doubt me with having a new child and a business, "how are you going to do it?" The answer, sometimes I don't even know myself, but I know women have children and work everyday and this is something that is very important to me and is my calling.... 

I wanted to share and say I want a purpose within my model team. I want to be an example and these kids to look at me and be inspired. I have gotten sooooo close (the past few years) to several of the girls and it has brought tons of joy to me especially when I am seeing on social media the posts about college and which schools they have excepted. Soooooo inspiring.... and seeing one of the girls trying out for ballet school in Berlin and a few other European cities... It's such an honor to take their pictures in such a pleasant time of their lives... a time things are really about to change in their life forever.

With all that being said... Here are a few personal pictures of my family and I.... We are expecting a new baby girl in April and let's just sayyyyyyy "I'm ECSTATIC." She is going to complete our family and we are soooooo excited.
